Why is iPiccy so slow or stops working?

There are several reasons why iPiccy may be slow or "buggy". Walk through the following suggestions (in any order) to speed up iPiccy reaction time.
Close all unnecessary applications
Shut down all unnecessary tabs (especially with Flash banners and applications inside), windows, programs, and applications opened on your computer.
Update Flash Player
Visit Adobe's Flash Player page to see which version of the Flash Player you now have installed. Updating takes about three minutes and is totally free. This takes about 3 minutes and is totally free.

  1. Uninstall your current Flash Player.
  2. Install the most recent version of the Flash Player.
Use a different browser
If you're still experiencing trouble, download one of the following browsers:
Resize large photos
Large photos can cause iPiccy to run more slowly. Try to use "Resize Image" tool to downscale your photos to 2500x2500 px or smaller (it's still a good resolution for A4 printing) to dramatically increase iPiccy speed.
Make sure your Internet connection is humming along
A slow Internet connection can cause lagging during uploading, editing, and saving. Connect to the Internet via an Ethernet cable rather than a wireless connection.
Make sure your computer meets the system requirements
For the best performance, make sure your computer meets the following:
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X, or Linux
  • 1GHz+ processor
  • 512MB+ of RAM
