The Toolbox is going to be a series of articles in which we go one by one discussing the tools available in iPiccy Photo Editor and we’ll talk about the strengths, weaknesses, and appropriate times to use these tools. Last time we talked about the Vector Masking, but today we’re talking about The Retouch Tab.
The Retouch Tab has a bunch of tools available once you open it. It is the third one at the top of the screen that has a blank face for an icon. The uses are fairly obvious ranging from fixing minor touch ups to making fun edits. Potentially you could use it to see what a subject may look like with different colored eyes or a different makeup scheme.

On top of what you saw in Casey’s video above, you can also test and experiment with different tools. Maybe you’re curious as to what your lips may look like if they were more red.
I’ll use this photo as a base to so we can come back and compare to the original.
So you get your Lip Color tool and adjust the brush size accordingly. Pick your color, zoom in, and carefully go around your lips with the brush. Don’t forget to choose a reasonable fade percentage. This is so it doesn’t look like a random red splotch and looks to be more similar to an actual use of lipstick. So let’s make this subject’s lips more red.
Or maybe, you’re curious as to what your hair might look like if the color was more intense. That’s also possible, by using the Hair Color tool (you have to be logged in), and following similar instructions to the lip color tool.
